Your first steps

Send your first application measurement

Connect your source in three steps.

  1. 01

    Create your monitor

Choose a custom-data template and organise it in a workspace.

  2. 02

    Create measurement series

Give each series a data type, unit and identifying labels. Use an API key with the required device access.

  3. 03

    Send measurements

Send readings together in one request. Keep their IDs unchanged when retrying to avoid duplicates.

Frequently asked questions

Answers and setup guides.

Do I need an agent?
Your application can send data directly through HTTPS. Examples are available for Python, JavaScript and Shell.
Are logs collected automatically?
You decide which measurements and event messages to send. Full logs and prompts stay in your application unless you send their contents yourself.
How do I handle retries?
Retry with the same measurement IDs and content. Follow the API usage limits and any Retry-After waiting time in the response.
