What you need
Access to your own account and its verified email inbox.
How to do it
- Open Security and inspect your active sessions. Revoke an unfamiliar session or other sessions you no longer need.
- Before deleting your account, export anything you want to keep. Open account deletion and read its consequences.
- Enter the requested confirmation text and fresh email code, then confirm deletion.
Good to know
Ending a session signs that browser out; it does not delete monitoring data. Deleting your account removes its monitors, data, keys and archives and ends access.
Deletion can take time. An accepted request means cleanup has started, not that every file is already removed. Monitor deletion removes one monitor; account deletion removes the entire account.
If something goes wrong
Do not submit deletion repeatedly if it is already in progress. If you cannot sign in or receive the confirmation code, use the contact form.
