Monitor a website or HTTP API
Check your website or public API for availability, response time and certificate expiry.

What you need
A public HTTP or HTTPS address on port 80 or 443. Addresses on your private network cannot be checked by this monitor.
Set up a check
- Open Monitors, choose a workspace, then select Add monitor and Website or API. Give the monitor a name.
- Enter the URL and select GET or HEAD. The default interval is five minutes; you can choose between one and 60 minutes.
- Choose the expected status. GET can also check text or a top-level JSON value. Save required login headers in the header editor, never in the URL.
- Save and wait for a check result. Add an alarm separately if you want notifications.
Read the result
The monitor shows status, response time, certificate days remaining and availability. Down means a confirmed target problem. Unknown means the check cannot reliably determine the target state. Pause and maintenance are shown separately.
If something goes wrong
Check the public URL, DNS, certificate and expected response. Changing the host, protocol or port removes saved headers; re-enter them for the new target. Redirects to another origin do not receive your secret headers.
