Find relevant words or severity levels in short event messages.

What you need
A monitor sending events and a notification destination.
How to do it
- Choose the monitor, minimum severity and whether the message must contain or equal your text.
- Set the comparison text, case sensitivity and, for contains checks, whole-word matching if needed.
- Choose the quiet period before recovery, from 30 to 86,400 seconds, and the destination. Test with a current short example message.
Good to know
Text matching uses literal words, not regular expressions. Further matches belong to the current incident. Recovery follows the configured quiet period even without new events.
If something goes wrong
Check spelling, severity and case settings if a message does not match. Send the relevant message rather than a complete log file.
