State alert rules
Alert on a specific yes/no value or named operating state.

What you need
A Boolean or Enum series with recent readings.
How to do it
- Choose the series and the exact state that should trigger an alarm.
- Choose one or two consecutive readings to confirm the alarm and, separately, recovery.
- Set reminders and the destination, save and check using current states.
Good to know
With two-reading confirmation, Pending means the rule is waiting for another matching reading at a different time. A different state or a gap interrupts confirmation.
Missing data is not an opposite state. Use a separate missing-data rule to watch freshness. Older historical states do not trigger new current notifications.
If something goes wrong
For named states, compare the exact spelling sent by the source. For Boolean values, use true or false rather than text.
