Public status pages
Publish a separate status page using only the data you choose to share.
On this page
Create a private draft
Open Status pages when available in your account and create a private draft. Choose its URL name, public labels, components, language and time zone. Select and approve each monitor and series you want to share. Check the preview before publishing at https://metribeacon.com/status/{slug}.
Read availability correctly
Availability compares successful checks with all known checks. Unknown or unobserved time is shown separately as coverage; it is not automatically healthy. Job outcomes and device contact are different measures. Label any public manual correction with its reason and expiry.
Publish incidents and maintenance
Write incident or maintenance updates as drafts, select affected components and publish explicitly. Status-page editors prepare content; publishers release it within approved sources. These page roles do not grant access to other workspace data. Internal alarms are not made public automatically.
Subscriptions and your own domain
Enable the feeds, subscription channels or widgets you want to offer. Email subscribers confirm their address and can unsubscribe through their private link. For your own domain, follow the displayed DNS ownership and host-mapping instructions before using its HTTPS address.
Control what is public
Share only names, readings and text intended for visitors. New monitors are not added automatically. Approve historical data separately. Withdrawing a source removes its public history; withdrawing the page stops its public outputs. During a temporary service problem, visitors may see a labelled older snapshot rather than live data.
Your brand and visitor emails
As owner, open Brand and mail delivery. Add a sender domain and publish the displayed ownership, DKIM and bounce DNS records without replacing existing mail routing. Wait for DNS and signing readiness. Choose a confirmed primary status-page domain and sender, review and confirm the draft, preview or send a test to your verified address, then publish the page. Visitor emails use the published brand. If signing or sender approval is unavailable, MetriBeacon is the sender; uncertain SMTP acceptance is not resent. Account and security mail always keeps the MetriBeacon identity.
