Create your first alert
Get notified when a reading crosses a limit or a device stops reporting.

What you need
A monitor with current readings and a notification destination, such as your verified email address.
How to do it
- Open Alarms, add a rule and choose the monitor or series.
- Choose the condition. For example, alert above 90% disk usage and recover below 85%. Set how long the condition must persist.
- Select a destination, save the rule and send a test message. Then check the incident and delivery history when the condition occurs.
Good to know
A test message checks your notification destination. It does not trigger the rule. Suggested alarms in templates are activated only when you select them.
If something goes wrong
If no message arrives, check the destination, current readings and any pause, mute or maintenance period. The delivery history explains why a message was not sent.
