Create your first monitor
Add one data source and connect it before setting up more monitors.

What you need
A signed-in account and a server, website, job or other source you want to monitor.
How to do it
- Open Add monitor and choose a workspace. Select the option that matches your data source, such as Website or API.
- Choose a suitable monitor type and give it a useful name, such as Home server or Shop website.
- Follow the connection instructions. Open the monitor and check for a first value or completed check before adding alarms.
Good to know
For servers, the agent sends readings. For websites, MetriBeacon checks the public URL. Other integrations send their own values or run reports.
Keep a newly displayed API key safe: its full value is shown only once. Alarm suggestions are optional and must be selected.
If something goes wrong
Continue an unfinished setup instead of creating another monitor. If a key is lost, replace it under Keys. Check Usage if no more monitors can be added.
