Set up a server profile
Choose the server components and readings you want the agent to collect.

What you need
A connected Server monitor with a current agent and permission to edit its settings.
How to do it
- Choose Server overview and select the main filesystem, disk and network interface. Enable automatic standard system metrics to include additional disks, the process count and active swap. Applying changes updates the selection; it does not save yet.
- Select the readings and reporting intervals you need. Check the required series slots and save.
- Wait for the agent to confirm the saved configuration, then check current values in the monitor.
Good to know
The overview shows CPU, memory, load, network bandwidth and filesystem usage. With an updated agent, Disk I/O total shows read and write throughput across local logical storage sources without counting RAID mirror copies twice. With one confirmed drive, this chart replaces automatic per-drive throughput charts in Overview and Charts; custom charts remain. Other automatic system metrics include the process count and active swap. Manually disabled measurements, individual intervals and histories are retained. Incomplete storage detection is shown as unavailable.
Open system information with the information icon next to the server title. Each collected filesystem has its own capacity entry; capacities are not added together. Bandwidth is shown in bits per second in the overview and can be changed to bytes per second in chart settings. This changes only the display, not stored data or exports. Missing information and unsupported readings are not shown as zero.
If something goes wrong
Reload after a configuration conflict. If a reading is unsupported or lacks permission, check the agent and local access rather than lowering its alarm threshold.
